Kerala aegis Electronics at School Scheme

electronics-at-school-kerala.jpg.image.784.410A curriculum committee, which was call under the aegis of Kerala Education Minister P.K. Abdu Rabb on Tuesday decided to go ahead with the Electronics at School scheme.
Once implemented, Kerala will be the first state in India to have the project in schools.
In the first phase of the scheme, the IT Department of the State government will provide Class 8 and 9 students 10,000 kits free of cost.
The kits will have switches, batteries and different types of censors. The children will be able to make 15 electronic equipments on their own using this kit. A class will be given 5 kits each.
The project is aimed at making physics learning fun-filled. Electronics@School will be extended to aided schools in phase two.
