BOHEMIA, N.Y: Data Device Corp. (DDC) in Bohemia, New York, is introducing the DD-48588 ARINC 429 line receiver for translating incoming ARINC 429 avionics databus information to a pair of TTL/CMOS outputs.

The DD-48588 is engineered to provide maximum reliability, with inputs internally protected to lightning requirements of DO-160G Level A3, waveforms 3, 4, and 5 with no additional protection required. The 8-pin small outline integrated circuit (SOIC) package is a drop-in replacement for Holt line receivers, DDC officials say.

“The ARINC 429 line receiver continues DDC’s commitment to providing a full range of connectivity support for aerospace applications, from components to boards to system level solutions”, says Mike Hegarty, DDC’s databus component product line manager.
